POCO C55 features a faux leather back for a comfortable grip sensation
Looking at the overall design, although it falls into the budget segment, the POCO C55 exudes a premium feel thanks to the faux leather pattern and visible stitching on the back. Not only does it provide aesthetic value, but this design style of the POCO C55 also enhances grip and better resists dirt from sweat/fingerprints.

Additionally, the rear panel of the POCO C55 also features highlights from the camera module and fingerprint sensor placed within the large characteristic frame of POCO-branded phones. The rear camera cluster of the device consists of two large lenses, a small round AI logo positioned in the top-left corner, and the addition of the 'POCO' brand name on the right side, contributing to enhancing the brand recognition of the device.

Furthermore, the frame and back panel of the POCO C55 are crafted from plastic material, combined with gentle curves for a comfortable and secure grip. The overall dimensions of the device are 168.8 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm with a weight of approximately 192 g, making one-handed usage relatively easy. Moreover, the connectivity ports and physical buttons on the frame of the POCO C55 are positioned in familiar locations. For specific details, please refer to the images below!
Turning to the front, it's not hard to notice that the display area of the POCO C55 is designed in a waterdrop notch style, which is quite common in budget phones, and the screen bezels are evenly designed (except for the bottom edge). Additionally, the front of the POCO C55 is protected by a sturdy Panda tempered glass layer and comes with an oleophobic coating to reduce oil and fingerprint smudges.

In terms of display capabilities, the POCO C55 is equipped with a wide 6.71-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1,650 x 720 pixels). These are basic specifications found in many mid-range smartphones, and according to the author's review on 91mobiles, the display quality of the POCO C55 is decent with relatively sharp details but somewhat muted color reproduction. Moreover, the POCO C55 is certified with Widevine L3, meaning the device can only stream content on direct streaming platforms like Netflix at a maximum resolution of 480p.

As a device positioned in the budget segment, to optimize production costs, POCO has equipped the POCO C55 with the Helio G85 chipset. This processor may not be unfamiliar as it has appeared in many budget smartphones, offering good performance within its price range. Therefore, the Helio G85 is well-suited for budget devices like the POCO C55, allowing the device to handle everyday tasks and light gaming reasonably well. Paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, it ensures good multitasking capability and ample space for data storage.

To better understand the processing capabilities of the Helio G85 chip on the POCO C55, the reviewer from 91mobiles conducted several tests using familiar apps such as GeekBench 5, AnTuTu, CPU Throttling. The results were relatively good, with 418 single-core and 1279 multi-core scores on the GeekBench 5 app; meanwhile, the overall performance score on AnTuTu could reach 253,881 points. Regarding performance stability, through the CPU Throttling app, it was observed that under high-intensity operation for prolonged periods, the device's performance could only maintain around 70-80% of its initial level.

This is also evident in gaming performance. Specifically, according to the author's experience, when using the POCO C55 to play light games like Bubble Shooter, 2048, or Subway Surfer, the device performs smoothly; however, with heavier graphic-intensive games like Call of Duty: Mobile or Free Fire Max, the experience isn't great due to frequent frame drops.

Furthermore, the POCO C55 is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, and according to PC Mark 3.0 test results, this battery can last for approximately 14 hours and 43 minutes. The author also adds that when the POCO C55 is fully charged, if not used for heavy tasks like graphic-intensive gaming, the device can easily provide you with a full day's usage!
POCO C55's 50 MP camera meets basic photography needs
Regarding the camera system of the POCO C55, it is equipped with a dual camera setup at the rear and a selfie camera with the following specifications:
- Main Camera: 50 MP resolution, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF support
- Depth-sensing Camera.
- Selfie Camera: 5 MP resolution.

Being a smartphone in the budget segment, the camera system of the POCO C55 is quite limited in terms of photography features. However, the device's image quality is still well-regarded by Mobigyaan's reviewer, as it can produce sharp and beautiful photos in daylight conditions. For specific results, please take a look at the photos captured by the POCO C55!
Conclusion
Overall, despite some minor drawbacks, at a price of 10,999 Rupees (approximately 3.1 million VND - for the 6 GB/128 GB variant), the POCO C55 has performed admirably in meeting the expectations of a budget phone. Therefore, the device remains a worthwhile option for those with limited financial means, seeking a phone for basic daily use.
