To assess the endurance of the Galaxy A24, I conducted a rigorous battery test following the standards set by The Mobile World, under specific conditions as outlined below:

Experience 4 rotating tasks including playing Arena of Valor (graphics set to the configuration below), watching YouTube, browsing Facebook, and using the Chrome browser.

Each task consumes 1 hour of usage.

Here are the results of the battery test:

After enduring the rigorous test, the Galaxy A24 can operate continuously for 9 hours 13 minutes. This is an excellent result compared to competitors in the same budget segment as well as other devices with the same 5,000 mAh battery capacity.

Taking a deeper dive into the performance metrics, the Galaxy A24 exhibits relatively consistent energy consumption across various applications. For instance, with apps like Facebook, Chrome, and YouTube, the device only consumes approximately 8 - 12% of battery per hour of usage. Meanwhile, more demanding tasks such as playing Mobile Legends require around 10 - 13% of battery per hour. This highlights not only the hardware prowess but also Samsung's adept software optimization, ensuring the Galaxy A24 operates at peak energy efficiency.

In addition to its impressive battery life, the Galaxy A24 features 25W fast charging. However, it's worth noting that the device does not come with a charging brick in the box. Therefore, for our testing purposes, we utilized a Baseus 65W charger to perform a full recharge test from 0% to 100% on the Galaxy A24.

As you can see in the image above, it took me 2 hours and 43 minutes to fully charge the battery of Galaxy A24 (from 0% to 100%). Some of you may find this charging time quite lengthy, and I agree with that. It's likely that my Baseus 65W charger is not well compatible with Galaxy A24 (the device only accepts a maximum power of 15W). Therefore, if we use the official Samsung 25W charger, the charging speed of Galaxy A24 might be faster.

Galaxy A24's battery lasts for over 8 hours of continuous gaming

In addition to its good performance considering the price and attractive design, Galaxy A24 also offers extended gaming sessions. So, how long can Galaxy A24 sustain gaming? To answer this question, I conducted a battery test with 4 popular games today: Arena of Valor, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Play Together. Let's go over the conditions of this test!

• Playing a single game until the battery drains from 100% to 0%.
• Screen brightness set to 100%.
• External speakers on at 50% volume.
• Wi-Fi enabled to receive social media notifications.
• No power-saving mode, adaptive screen, GPS, or Bluetooth.
• Gaming mode activated for peak performance.

Overall, gaming on Galaxy A24 is worry-free regarding battery drain.
