Air purifiers have become a staple in many households, and it's likely that most people have one for use. In this article, I'll share my experience with the Jya Fjord Air Purifier after using it for a while, for everyone's reference.
About the Jya Brand

Evaluation
Design
Many have suggested to me to buy Xiaomi's air filters, but the fact that the machine only comes in white made me hesitate. The sleek black tone of Jya Fjord was the first thing that caught my attention and led me to decide to purchase the machine. As for the design, it's quite similar to other air filters, with a rectangular body, outer casing with holes for air intake, and slots on the top to blow clean air out. The machine features a touchscreen display showing the level of air pollution, along with various modes similar to other machines.

Air filtration capability
The machine is equipped with sensors to measure real-time temperature, humidity, and air pollution levels, which are displayed on the front screen. Additionally, the manufacturer states that the machine can detect PM10, PM2.5 dust, and TVOC gases.

The UV sterilization mode is currently activated on the display screen.
The replacement time for the filter cartridge is similar to that of Xiaomi air purifiers, ranging from 6-12 months depending on the dust level in your room. The store where I bought the device also sells filter cartridges, so this issue is not too concerning. The noise reduction capability of my machine is impressive, it doesn't disrupt my daily activities. In reality, I've noticed that most air purifiers have similar noise levels, and they tend to be quieter when switched to night mode.Summary
Advantages
- Elegant and sophisticated design with a sleek black color scheme.
Drawback
- Slightly higher price compared to Xiaomi. Connects via Smartmi Link app instead of Mi Home like other Smartmi products => a bit inconvenient if you have many Xiaomi devices at home.
