Accompanying technology, Samsung Vina's Deputy General Director and Head of Consumer Electronics, Ms. Nguyen Y Mai, emphasizes the brand's commitment to product quality by rigorously testing the durability of washing machines before production. This ensures robust and long-lasting products. Recently, Samsung washing machines underwent 150 tests in a laboratory in South Korea, including exposure to heat, cold, impact, drops, pressure, transportation, engine sound, and vibrations. The factory in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, supplies globally, equipped with a measurement system similar to South Korea for over 50 of the total 150 tests.

The devices undergo endurance testing for buttons and the washing machine door joint tens of thousands of times.
For instance, the sound test is conducted in a $2 million soundproof room covering 20m2. This space is isolated from the outside cargo area by 4 layers of doors, walls made of soundproof foam, eight shock absorbers, and numerous highly sensitive sound-receiving microphones. The washing machine's design and materials are adjusted until the operational noise level reaches 59-65 decibels. Samsung engineers affirm that this noise level is equivalent to two people having a quiet conversation. In the complete packaging state, the top of the machine undergoes a stress test equivalent to 12 stacked products of the same type. Simultaneously, it undergoes a high-intensity shaking system and a free-fall lift system to simulate incidents during production, transportation to business partners, and installation at users' homes. 'The goal of these tests is to ensure that the equipment provides flexibility for users, delivering high-quality washing and saving time for users to achieve more important things in life,' stated Ms. Y Mai.

Global statistics from Allied show that the smart washing machine market reached $3 billion in 2016. With a yearly growth rate of 22.6%, this 'pie' will expand to $13 billion by 2023. In anticipation of this prediction, the Galaxy Home ecosystem developed by the company will include smartphones, TVs, sound systems, air conditioners, and, of course, washing machines. In the near future, the virtual assistant Bixby could start the washing machine while users are in the kitchen or even on their way home from the office.
