(Motherland) - Kayle's updated ultimate will interact better with the strength this champion possesses.
At the beginning of the 2023 season, Riot Games released a lengthy video discussing the slight reworks of certain champions in League of Legends (
The latest champion confirmed by Riot Games to undergo a rework is Kayle. Despite having a decent win rate, Kayle is selected too little due to encountering some issues in gameplay. Kayle's rework promises to make this champion more engaging.

A few days ago, Lead Champion Designer of LoL - Riot August, provided initial information about the Kayle rework. Specifically, Kayle's ultimate will now have a damage radius equal to her attack range. Moreover, Kayle 'newly' can attack enemies while receiving damage immunity effects from her ultimate.

These are necessary changes for Kayle as this champion can deal damage more effectively with her ultimate. Previously, Kayle's ultimate had a shorter damage radius than her attack range after reaching level 16. Kayle having to get close to enemies (while needing to maintain position) to deal damage with her old ultimate was unreasonable. Because Kayle is quite fragile and getting too close to enemies does not ensure a safe position, especially in chaotic fights.

Furthermore, allowing Kayle to attack more frequently with her ultimate will greatly enhance her 'team-carrying' ability towards the end of the match. Many experts have praised this adjustment from Riot and hope for its swift implementation. We look forward to Riot August continuing to announce further updates for Kayle in the near future.
