Riot continues to demonstrate their '200 years of game-making experience' by increasing the resilience of all League of Legends champions.
Recently, Riot expressed concerns about the pace of League of Legends matches, both in ranked and professional play. This is attributed to the excessively 'fake' damage output from champions, further amplified by trending items like Serrated Dirk, Infinity Edge... Consequently, Riot confirms they'll need to recalculate adjustments to prevent matches from becoming overly fast and dull.
As a result, all League of Legends champions will receive buffs to their base health, health stats, armor scaling with level, and magic resist. Thus, at level 18, an ordinary champion will receive a significant increase in health points, armor, and magic resist - numbers that are not insignificant, especially for Marksmen champions - typically considered fragile against the current 'monstrous' damage output. Additionally, according to information disclosed by this account, Riot also reduces healing capability and increases damage from Grievous Wounds.
However, this also means that already tanky champions will become even tankier. Yet, the League of Legends community is focusing attention on buffing champions who were previously fragile. As one internet user bluntly puts it: 'Caitlyn is now as tough as old Ornn.'

However, since these are unofficial details, and surely will need testing on the PBE server, it's uncertain if these will be Riot's final adjustments. One thing can be assured though: in the upcoming period, perhaps even as soon as Summer 2022, there won't be matches with record-short durations. Teams will have to calculate outgoing damage more precisely to swiftly take down targets in engagements.
