(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - Due to the excessive strength in various aspects, Riot Games is actively seeking measures to balance the overall power of the Fighter class.
No need to wait until Preseason 2023, the Fighter class in League of Legends (LoL) has been imbalanced for at least 3 years. Fighters possess excessive strength ranging from high damage, strong resilience, fast recovery, to high mobility. As a result, other classes are increasingly weakened while Fighters continue to grow stronger.

This imbalance allows Fighter champions to utilize defensive items and runes while still dealing significant damage. An example is the Legendary rune: Tenacity when it greatly reduces the chance of being crowd-controlled.
In the latest updates from Riot Games, they will reduce the power of this rune. Specifically, each stack of the Legendary rune: Tenacity will decrease by 1% power. At maximum stacks, this rune will only provide 15% crowd-control reduction instead of the previous 25%.

This is a reasonable adjustment as this rune allows Fighters to move too freely in combat and decimate opponents. This change also elevates the value of Mage and Support champions (the primary source of crowd control for a team) significantly.

Fundamentally, the Legendary rune: Tenacity is just one of many factors contributing to the imbalance of the Fighter class. Hopefully, Riot Games will make more impactful adjustments to bring League of Legends closer to a balanced state in the 2023 season.
