Although highly praised, Season 6 of Teamfight Tactics has encountered some issues with certain synergies and specific hextech upgrades. In particular, the Techies and Hextech synergy, while providing strong resilience, lacked sufficient late-game damage due to their low attack speed bonuses. Additionally, many level 3 hextech upgrades proved weaker than other choices at the same level, posing challenges for players.
This has prompted Riot Games to receive significant negative feedback in recent days, with the community demanding substantial changes. Consequently, on November 18th, Riot Mortdog, the project lead for Teamfight Tactics, introduced a series of significant alterations in patch 11.24. These adjustments promise to completely reshape the meta of Season 6.

Analyzing Riot's aforementioned changes reveals that increased synergy breakpoints will provide players with more suitable champions. This simplifies team composition building for players and eliminates the need to reluctantly upgrade champions because they do not match their synergies. Additionally, reducing gold and experience provided by champion upgrades will diminish their dominance.

Furthermore, regarding the Techies revamp, while their resilience may decrease slightly, the duration of their effects will increase at the beginning of the match. With the Techies at level 5, a 50% attack speed bonus is a significant advantage, allowing Urgot to deal much more damage. Moreover, this effect also enables champions like Viktor with Shojin's Spear to cast spells more rapidly, gaining a significant damage advantage.

In summary, the recent overhaul in Teamfight Tactics promises to address longstanding issues and refresh the gameplay experience for players. With adjustments to synergies and hextech upgrades, as well as improvements to champion balance, Season 6 is poised to offer a more dynamic and engaging competitive environment.

Let's remember that this is just a small fraction of Riot Games' updates. Hopefully, they will find ways to enhance other synergies to make the game meta more diverse and exciting.
