T1 enthusiasts react as Riot unveils the latest update for Worlds 2023.
In many past tournaments, T1 has always been the team facing regrettable defeats. With complete stats, only in MSI 2023 did they have an early exit in the loser's bracket, while in other tournaments, T1 reached the grand finals. However, from MSI 2022 until now, not once has a title smiled upon Faker and his teammates. Numerous reasons have been put forward, such as the players' competitive spirit, formidable opponents, and one significant factor: T1 rarely gets to play on patches where their signature champions truly shine.

Certainly, for a skilled player, adapting to every patch that Riot introduces is a must. However, it is undeniable that playing on a favorable patch allows players to showcase their abilities even more. A disadvantageous patch will undoubtedly pose challenges, as no matter how talented a player is, they cannot master all the strengths and weaknesses of a champion, even if that champion is part of the meta and frequently picked. Not to mention the variables that can occur during a match.

Recently, Riot has decided to release the 13.19 update. This will also be the version used for the World Championship (Worlds) 2023. Upon hearing the news, the T1 fan community rejoiced. While in version 13.18, only a few T1 players' marksmen champions received buffs (Caitlyn, Thresh), in version 13.19, almost all the champions receiving buffs are T1 marksmen, including: Jhin, Lissandra, Lee Sin, Galio, Syndra (also Gangplank, Nunu, Pyke, Twitch, and Ziggs).

Moreover, not a few T1 fans even assert that if they cannot clinch the championship with this patch, T1 should disband. Even the most loyal T1 fans exude immense confidence: 'This is our Worlds patch. If we can't win, disband and let these players join teams that can vie for the title. Riot has 'helped' us enough already,' and this opinion has garnered considerable agreement.

Certainly, these are just light-hearted remarks considering that the Worlds 2023 patch heavily favors the champion pool of T1 players. However, whether they secure the title or not depends on the players' performance, as well as their form and focus if they make it to the final match.
