(Fatherland) - The Artistic Impressions skins are receiving mixed reactions regarding their designs.
During the evening of April 18th and the early morning of April 19th (Vietnam time), Riot unveiled the latest images of the Artistic Impressions skin line. This is one of Riot's heavily invested skin lines this year. Moreover, the champions featured in this skin line are mostly familiar names, associated with current popular gameplay or extremely famous. These include Yasuo-Yone duo, Udyr, and Master Yi, Kai'Sa.

However, due to the martial arts-inspired design, heavily influenced by Eastern culture, the Artistic Impressions skins are receiving mixed feedback. On the positive side, players comment that these skins are quite beautiful. However, since these skins have not yet appeared on the current PBE, players still wonder about the effects that the skin line may bring, except for the transformation effect.

But on the opposing side, many argue that Riot is repeating the mistakes of previously beautifully designed skin lines. Specifically, some champions are designed but lose their essence and are prone to confusion with other champions. Firstly, and most notably, is Kai'Sa. Some players admit they wouldn't recognize this champion without relying on the ethereal shoulder pads she wears. Furthermore, there is an opinion suggesting that if Kai'Sa were given an Artistic Impressions sword, she would become Fiora.

Other champions causing controversy are Volibear and Yone. While Volibear is originally a god in the form of a bear, this skin line has turned him into... a tiger. Meanwhile, Yone is only recognizable thanks to his mask and dual swords. In the same skin line, although Yone is the elder brother, this champion is designed to look much younger than Yasuo on multiple occasions.

However, many players still acknowledge that despite the confusing design, this remains an eagerly anticipated line of attire. Perhaps, after they officially debut on PBE, players will have a more comprehensive view before deciding whether to 'open their wallets' for Riot or not.
