According to various social media sources, Warner Bros has recently screened a raw cut of The Batman, set to release on 03/04/2022, and has received praise from film critics. Directed by Matt Reeves (known for Cloverfield and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), The Batman stars Robert Pattinson (known for his roles in The Lost City of Z, The Lighthouse, Tenet, The Devil all the Time, and of course, Twilight) as the lead, amidst a Gotham City filled with villains: Catwoman (Zoe Kravits), Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and The Riddler (Paul Dano). Assisting Batman this time are both familiar and new faces: James Gorgon (Jeffrey Wright), Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), police inspector Stanley Merkel (John Turturro), and district attorney Gil Colson (Peter Sarsgaard).

Surely you still recall the rather ominous and spine-chilling trailer premiered at last year's DC Fandome event. Currently, numerous sources are showering praise upon the roughly 3-hour rough cut of the movie. DC World Tegulu describes The Batman as a 'truly serious, violent, and chilling work with plenty of shocking scenes, with Pattinson's performance being outstanding.' Daniel Richtman mentions, 'I've heard rumors of people being terrified while watching this rough cut of the film.'

DC Syndicate reveals, 'The Batman was test screened with a roughly 3-hour cut, and those who have seen it deem it the greatest DC film yet, dark, chilling, and sufficiently horrifying.' Zoe Kravitz and Paul Dano, portraying Catwoman and The Riddler respectively, receive special acclaim, with a shocking twist at the end of the film opening up possibilities for a sequel. Meanwhile, The Stack is equally effusive, hailing this as the finest DC comic book adaptation since Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy.
