Personally, I find this to be a very credible leak, as the previous generation realme GT Neo5 featured the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, so upgrading to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for enhanced performance seems entirely plausible. For those unfamiliar, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip was introduced in late 2022 with significantly improved power compared to its predecessor.

This chip is manufactured on TSMC's 4nm process, offering comprehensive improvements over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It features 8 cores, including 1 Arm Cortex-X3 core clocked at up to 3.2 GHz, 4 Cortex-A715 high-performance cores at 2.8 GHz, and 3 Cortex-A510 power-efficient cores running at 2.0 GHz. Therefore, if the realme GT Neo6 indeed uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, you won't need to worry too much about the device's performance!

To better support the realme GT Neo6's performance with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the device will also be equipped with up to 12 GB or 14 GB of RAM, aiming to minimize lag when handling heavy tasks such as high-graphic gaming or video editing. Additionally, users will have 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage to store data and images for both personal and work purposes.
