According to Twitter user 'RGcloudS', iPhone 15 is rumored to feature stacked battery technology. This new battery tech has previously been speculated for the flagship model set to launch early next year.

iPhone 15 could adopt stacked battery technology.A stacked battery employs a manufacturing technique known as thin stacking, where elements and separators are arranged into thin layers instead of being wound together. With less wasted space, stacked battery technology is poised to deliver higher energy density, thereby offering better battery capacity. Moreover, heat distribution is more uniform, extending the battery's lifespan by avoiding concentration in a single area.
Additionally, today's sources suggest that Apple is developing 40W wired fast charging and 20W wireless charging via MagSafe. However, it's unclear if these will be integrated into the upcoming iPhone 15 series. Currently, the highest supported wired fast charging power is 29W, and MagSafe wireless charging is at 15W.
Let's wait and see what surprises the 'Apple House' has in store for fans in the near future!
