Last Wednesday, Ukrainian forces shot down what appeared to be a helicopter-like drone using British Starstreak missiles. Upon examining the wreckage, they discovered it was a decoy drone deployed by Russia. It was developed by JSC CSTS Dinamika under Technodinamika - a company specializing in high-tech products for the Russian civil aviation market.
This is an unmanned aerial system serving as a simulated target. It is designed to mimic drones or helicopters flying at low speeds, serving the purpose of prototype testing and modernizing air defense weaponry. On the Ukrainian battlefield, Russia now utilizes this drone as bait to determine the locations of Ukrainian air defense forces.Source: Defence-Blog
