Important Note: Fingerprint unlock feature only operates on laptops equipped with fingerprint security.
How to Set Up Fingerprint on Windows 11 Laptop
Step 1: Press Windows + I to quickly open the
Step 2: Navigate to Account section, then select Sign-in Options.
Step 3: To set up fingerprint unlocking, firstly, establish a password for unlocking the device under the PIN and Password section.
Step 4: Once the password setup is completed, to proceed with fingerprint setup, navigate to Fingerprint recognition, choose Set up, then continue to Getting Started.
Step 5: Next, to add your fingerprint, re-enter your PIN for confirmation. After confirmation, place your finger on the fingerprint sensor to register a new fingerprint.
Additionally, you can register multiple other fingerprints by selecting Add a finger or remove fingerprints under Remove.
