Rice paper salad seems to have become quite familiar to snack enthusiasts, hasn't it? Recently, butter rolled rice paper has emerged – not much different from regular rolled rice paper but with extra butter and incredibly rich oiliness and creaminess.
Let's try making butter rolled rice paper at home right away, it's both delicious and safe!
With the butter-oil recipe below, you can use it for rolling rice paper or sandwiching meat and bread – equally delicious!
Ingredients:
- Rice paper sheets
- 20 quail eggs
- 100g shredded dried squid
- 1 green mango
- Cilantro
- 2 chicken eggs
- Cooking oil

Step 3: Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and whisk vigorously. Once the oil and eggs blend together, add another 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and continue whisking. Keep whisking until the mixture becomes fluffy and thick, indicating that the butter-oil mixture is ready.

Step 4: Peel and julienne green mango.

Step 5: Finely chop cilantro, lightly crush peanuts.

Step 6: Spread the pancake on a flat plate or cutting board. If the pancake is dry, you can lightly brush some water on the surface. Evenly layer the following ingredients: butter-oil mixture, dried squid, fried shallots, green mango, cilantro, a pinch of shrimp salt, and quail eggs.

Step 7: Roll the rice paper tightly like a spring roll. When eating, remember to cut the roll into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle peanuts on top, drizzle with melted butter and chili sauce on top.
Done! So, we have a delicious buttery rice paper roll just like in Saigon!

Wishing all the ladies success!! <3
