In a recent blog post and YouTube video, the South Korean company showcased the 'ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace' and 'E2E AI Remosaic' features supported by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace employs a 200-megapixel ISOCELL sensor to record two 4K video streams simultaneously – one zoomed-in on the subject and one capturing the entire scene.
This enables users to adjust framing after recording, even while zoomed in. Zoom Anyplace functions in both 2x and 4x zoom modes. The feature also automatically tracks subjects and maintains real-time focus. All of this is accomplished while preserving 4K resolution video quality.
Introducing the Galaxy S24 UltraOn the other hand, E2E, also known as AI Remosaic End-to-end, is a new image processing method that could debut on the
Galaxy S24 series. This new technology processes images in parallel rather than sequentially, significantly boosting capture speed. Samsung states that E2E AI Remosaic could double capture speed, resulting in shorter processing times and better image quality.
According to the South Korean company, all of these features are still under development, but we can expect them to appear on the
next year's lineup. Let's wait and see!
