Today, Samsung Electronics Vietnam officially unveils the mid-range smartphone Galaxy A80 in the Vietnamese market. This smartphone boasts a new generation Infinity display and a unique 180-degree sliding rotating camera mechanism. According to Samsung, the Galaxy A80 embraces the 'Live Era' as users increasingly lean towards interactive engagement and online content sharing.
The highlight of this smartphone is the cluster of 3 180-degree sliding rotating cameras. When users select the front camera mode in the camera app, the cluster of 3 cameras automatically slides up from the phone's back and rotates 180 degrees to the front.
The primary camera boasts a 48MP resolution, supported by a ToF sensor for depth measurement, enabling active background blur (Live Focus) not only for images but also videos, along with an ultra-wide 123-degree camera.
Thanks to the 180-degree sliding rotating camera mechanism, the Galaxy A80's display lacks a notch, waterdrop notch, or punch-hole, referred to by Samsung as the New Infinity design. The Galaxy A80 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The Galaxy A80 is Samsung's first smartphone equipped with in-display sound technology. It supports Dolby Atmos, simulating 360-degree surround sound when using headphones or Bluetooth speakers. The Galaxy A80 also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Samsung equips this smartphone with the Snapdragon 730G processor, optimized for gaming performance, and an AI Engine for enhanced photography. It comes with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
Users can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy A80 starting from June 15, 2019. The product will officially hit shelves at mobile retail stores nationwide from July 6, 2019, with a suggested retail price of 14,990,000 VND, available in two color options: Rose Gold and Black.
