Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra flaunts impressive performance with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip on Geekbench

News about these has been widely shared recently. Today, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra variant has been discovered on the Geekbench performance testing website with some key technical specifications.

According to Gizmochina, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phone appeared on Geekbench as a variant for the US market, with model number SM-S928U. Here, the phone was found to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM and running on the latest Android 14 operating system.

In terms of performance, the device scored 1,895 points in single-core testing and 5,062 points in multi-core testing. The Geekbench list also reveals some details about the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It appears that the SoC will have one Cortex-X4 CPU core clocked at 3.3 GHz, three Cortex-A720 CPU cores clocked at 3.15 GHz, two Cortex-A720 CPU cores clocked at 2.96GHz, and two Cortex-A520 CPU cores clocked at 2.27GHz. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is expected to be launched on October 24 at the Snapdragon Summit.

Previous information about the Galaxy S24 series suggests that the standard and Plus models will be equipped with either the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC depending on the region, while the S24 Ultra will exclusively use the next premium SoC from Qualcomm.

Rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra include a titanium frame, an upgraded 200MP main rear camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Leaked renders of this smartphone also indicate a design similar to its predecessor but slightly shorter and wider.
