As per reports from The Korea Herald, Samsung Galaxy S9 will be available on March 16. Pre-order plans commence on February 28, just three days after the February 25 event.
Previous reports hinted at immediate pre-orders after the unveiling event, and shipments are expected to kick off in early March.

Quoting various sources, mobile carriers including SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus have been notified. Customers can pre-order the Galaxy S9 in South Korea from March 9 to March 15.
No pricing details have been revealed yet, but the anticipated cost of the Galaxy S9 is expected to be slightly higher than its predecessor, priced at just under 1,000 USD.
Compared to the Galaxy S8, this new smartphone model is set to hit the market earlier. Many believe this is Samsung's response following the launch of the iPhone X by Apple.
The absence of Samsung's new flagship and the introduction of the iPhone X allowed Apple to narrow the gap with their competitors, even in South Korea. Therefore, releasing the Galaxy S9 in the market sooner rather than later is a top priority for Samsung.
