It's quite surprising that Samsung has decided to bring both the Galaxy A22 4G and A22 5G to the Vietnamese market. Looking at this duo is impressive as the brand pioneers bringing optical image stabilization (OIS) technology to the 5-6 million segment.

Samsung has previously brought OIS stabilization to mid-range models like the Galaxy A52 and A72, but now the tech community is even more surprised as the brand has brought this feature to the under 6 million price range with the Galaxy A22 4G.
In the 5-6 million price segment, it's difficult to find a smartphone with good enough camera performance that also supports optical image stabilization technology. Samsung emphasizes this feature a lot, and it's also the most prominent point when compared to other competitors.
With this advanced technology, you can unleash your creativity, capture photos, and shoot videos smoothly, stably in each frame, minimizing shake-induced blur. You will find them truly essential when shooting in motion or in low-light conditions like evenings.
Regarding specific specifications, the Galaxy A22 4G will feature a quad-camera setup on the back, including a 48 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree field of view, a 2 MP depth camera, and finally a 2 MP macro camera.
On the front, there will be a 13 MP selfie sensor supporting various automatic filters available on the device, including Live Emotion Stickers, Smart Beauty for Gen Z users to have fun on social media platforms.
90Hz display, powerful configuration for smooth multitasking
Not only having advantages in terms of the camera, the Galaxy A22 4G and A22 5G are also equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate display, providing smooth display and better touch experience for users.
The performance prowess of this duo will come from the Helio G80 processor and Dimensity 700 for the 5G variant. The Helio G80 is characterized by its balanced performance and power efficiency, making it optimized for users who require long battery life.

Samsung remains generous with user RAM and internal storage capacities. The Galaxy A22 will sport 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM (with additional support for expansion). Paired with a 5,000 mAh battery, you can rest assured that the device will excel in multitasking, work, and studying.
Moreover, both of these devices will handle gaming quite well. I've personally experienced gaming on both processors mentioned above and managed to play popular titles at medium settings quite smoothly.
5G Technology Becoming More Accessible at Comfortable Prices
Currently, there's no information available on the price of the Galaxy A22 5G, but Samsung has confirmed that it will bring this version to market soonest. Particularly, the company has revealed that this will be the best 5G smartphone in its price range upon release.
However, perhaps due to allocating quite a bit of resources to 5G, as mentioned earlier, the A22 5G will see some reductions in the camera department, with only 3 rear cameras including a 48 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP depth-sensing camera. On the front side, there will be an 8 MP selfie camera.
Additionally, this version will not support OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and will have some differences in the display because it will use an LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution, instead of the high-brightness Super AMOLED display of the Galaxy A22 4G.

With the Galaxy A22 4G and A22 5G duo, Samsung has proven its 'playability' by bringing many premium technologies to a comfortable price range, making them accessible to more users.
Although the specifications of these two versions may seem like a trade-off at first glance, there's a bit of a give-and-take situation. But upon closer examination, Samsung may have optimized each for different target audiences.
The advantage of the Galaxy A22 5G lies in its name itself, featuring the latest 5G technology and boasting stronger processing power. This will be a suitable choice for those who want to play games or experience the fast 5G speed.
With the Galaxy A22 4G, you'll get a more powerful and versatile camera, which is also of good quality due to the inclusion of OIS stabilization. Additionally, you'll enjoy a high-quality AMOLED display that remains clear and visible even outdoors.
That's why I believe the 4G version will likely suit the majority of users better, especially considering its accessible price range, starting from just 5-6 million VND.
