Razer teases an image of the Blade 15 featuring the new 240Hz OLED display from SamsungThe world's first 240Hz OLED laptop display by Samsung was unveiled at Display Week 2022 in San Jose. Razer will be the first to implement Samsung's new OLED display.
As customary, Razer has announced the launch of the Blade 15 laptop featuring Samsung's 240Hz OLED display, slated for release in Q4 at a hefty price tag of around $3,500 USD (over 80 million VND).
Currently, 4K LCD panels for laptops are limited to a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. ASUS recently unveiled a series of new laptops in the Zenbook and Vivobook lineup with 4K OLED displays boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, but Samsung has taken a step ahead by announcing a 240Hz OLED computer monitor.

Samsung's OLED display does not achieve 4K resolution but will be limited to QHD (1440p) to achieve the 240Hz refresh rate. Alongside the high refresh rate, Samsung's new OLED display also offers wide color gamut coverage, HDR 10+ support, and Dolby Vision compatibility.
Samsung's new OLED display boasts a brightness of 400 nits, not exceptionally high, but with the deep blacks characteristic of OLED displays, the high contrast ratio will improve outdoor visibility.
