The company announces that the new Galaxy S9 and S9+ are equipped with the most advanced camera technology ever seen. With what Samsung calls the Super Speed Dual Pixel sensor, it can combine 12 different images into one high-quality image. Additionally, the camera on these new Galaxy devices also promises to capture low-light photos, thanks to its f/1.5 - f/2.4 aperture adjustment.

These devices can capture slow-motion videos at a frame rate of 960 frames per second. With Motion Detection, the S9 automatically detects motion in the scene and begins recording.
According to projections, Samsung will introduce AR Emoji on its mobile devices, similar to Apple's Animoji, enabling users to create 3D models based on facial expressions and movements. Then, they can share these animated images with friends. AR Emoji also has the ability to create custom emojis.
In addition, Samsung also announces that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are equipped with Dolby Atmos dual speakers and Infinity Display.
The display screen has not changed much since its debut on the Galaxy S8, with a 5.8-inch screen on the S9 and a 6.2-inch screen on the S9+. The aspect ratio is 18:5:9. Besides the slight difference in screen size, another notable difference between the two devices is that the Galaxy S9 features a single camera while the S9+ boasts a dual camera setup. This implies that the S9+ will support depth effects.
Furthermore, the S9+ is equipped with larger RAM and battery, with 6GB of RAM and a 3,500mAh battery. Conversely, the S9 is equipped with 4GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery. Regarding specifications, they are the same.
In the U.S. market, these handheld devices are available in three colors: Lilac Purple, Black, and Blue. Pre-orders start on March 2nd, and users can purchase them through AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon, Xfinity Mobile, Best Buy, Amazon, Costco, Sam's Club, Target, Walmart, and Samsung.com.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ duo will hit the market on March 16th, with the S9 priced at $719.99 and the S9+ at $839.99.
