However, a recent report from The Elec in Korea suggests that the Galaxy Ring might be delayed until late 2024 or early 2025.
Samsung delays the Galaxy Ring launchAccording to reports, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Ring alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 in August, September, or October 2024. However, The Elec notes that this plan could be pushed back to early 2025.
This information is much later than previous reports from Sammobile, the source indicating that the Galaxy Ring would appear in January next year. Currently, these rumors are unconfirmed by Samsung.
The Galaxy Ring is set to possess advanced technologiesCurrently, Samsung is reportedly considering seeking medical approval for the device. The Elec suggests that the product development process typically takes 7 to 8 months, and obtaining medical approval could add an additional 10 to 12 months. Considering all these processes, the likelihood of the Galaxy Ring appearing in early 2025 is more plausible.
Elec's report also suggests that Samsung is developing a prototype of the Galaxy Ring in four different sizes. Let's stay tuned for more updates!
