The stable Android 10 update with One UI 2.0 appears just under a week after the South Korean company rolled out the update for all users as part of the Android 10 beta program. The company initiated the One UI 2.0 beta program for Galaxy S9 and Note9 in November last year.
Samsung Releases Stable Android 10 Update with One UI 2.0 for Galaxy Note9
Samsung promptly introduces the Android 10 update for its devices this year. The company started the rollout of the stable Android 10 update for Galaxy S10 in early December, followed by Note 10 in mid-December last year.
Galaxy Note9 stands out as Samsung's flagship Note device in 2018, so it's impressive that the company delivers a major Android update for its over a year-old flagship within 3-4 months of Google releasing the operating system update. The update for Galaxy S9 was also deployed shortly after.
One UI 2.0, based on Android 10, comes with full-screen gestures, enhanced one-handed mode, new multimedia features, improved biometrics, a fresh camera interface, and more. After undergoing three beta updates, the highly anticipated Android 10 update based on One UI 2.0 is ready for official release. Although stable Android 10 is currently only available in India, Samsung won't take much time to expand to other markets like the UK, Europe, and for all global users.
