Galaxy J7 Pro is an enhanced version of the popular J7 Prime, with a more attractive display and a front camera with 13 'dots.'
Galaxy J7 Pro is available for pre-order starting from 16/6 and will be on the market in early July with a price of 6.99 million VND. The device is more expensive by 1 million VND compared to Galaxy J7 Prime
Compared to its predecessor, the design of Galaxy J7 Pro is more refined, with the antenna strip neatly shaped into two U's at the back. The main camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels and an f/1.7 aperture lens is placed flush under the metal casing, without protruding like many Samsung smartphones.
The overall design of J7 Pro looks more sophisticated than its predecessor. The front of the device bears a resemblance to Galaxy S7 with its curved 2.5D glass edges, and slim side bezels. Another enhancement is the switch to Super AMOLED technology for the 5.5-inch Full HD screen, providing better viewing angles and colors compared to PLS TFT.
The interface of Galaxy J7 Pro resembles Galaxy S8 as both run on Android Nougat. The fingerprint sensor is located on the Home button, with a fairly fast response, recognizing touches even when the screen is off.
Despite being priced higher than J7 Prime, the specifications of Galaxy J7 Pro haven't seen significant improvements. This model still utilizes the Exynos 8 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 3GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage.
The front camera has been upgraded from 8 megapixels to 13 megapixels, focusing on selfie capabilities with the addition of both flash and a lens with a wide f/1.9 aperture, improving performance in low-light conditions.
The battery capacity has also been increased from 3,300 mAh to 3,600 mAh. With the switch to Super AMOLED display and the Always On Display feature, the Galaxy J7 Pro offers longer usage time.
The official version in Vietnam supports 2 4G SIM cards and has a dedicated microSD card slot. In addition to the classic black and pink colors seen on J7 Prime, Galaxy J7 Pro introduces a new and unique silver-blue hue, reminiscent of the BlueCoral shade on the Galaxy S8.
