Samsung's Galaxy S10 5G reaches an impressive sales figure of 1 million units in South Korea, leaving LG's V50 ThinQ 5G far behind.
Samsung successfully sells 1 million units of the Galaxy S10 5G, leaving LG trailing with just 280,000 units of their 5G smartphones sold.
Last Sunday, Samsung announced that they have sold over 1 million units of the Galaxy S10 5G in South Korea. Since its release on April 5th, up until the sales cut-off, the Galaxy S10 5G has been flying off the shelves in Korea for 80 days.

According to Samsung's report, during this period, on average, 15,000 units of the Galaxy S10 5G were purchased per day in South Korea. 'The carriers have attracted customers with various subsidy and promotion programs, and the 5G smartphone market in South Korea will further thrive with the introduction of more product lines,' shared an executive from SK Telecom, the leading mobile carrier in South Korea.
LG, Samsung's main competitor in the South Korean market, has also launched its 5G smartphone, the V50 ThinQ 5G, on May 10th. This device has received positive feedback from consumers and has sold 280,000 units.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G features a Snapdragon 855 chip, 8GB of RAM, a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a massive 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It boasts a total of 6 cameras, with 2 front-facing and 4 rear cameras.
