Today, renowned leaker @Revengus shared information on Samsung's discontinuation of mass production of Exynos 2300 chips on their Twitter account.
While Exynos 2300 didn't see mass production, it's believed to boast performance equivalent to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Qualcomm's current best SoC. @Revengus compared Exynos 2300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 chips, used in the Galaxy S21 series a few years back.
Exynos 2300 is said to have multicore performance on par with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but its GPU performance remains uncertain. Google's Tensor G3 is rumored to be a modified version of Exynos 2300, but Geekbench 5 leaks suggest it falls behind Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This raises doubts about the strength of Exynos 2300.

Despite scrapping Exynos 2300, Samsung is reportedly exploring Exynos 2400, slated for release in Q4 2023. Exynos 2400 is said to be manufactured using Samsung's 4nm process, purportedly enhancing productivity.
