Samsung reportedly plans to launch two models of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 this year to boost sales. The low-priced version is rumored to be priced around 1,000 or 1,200 USD (approximately 24.72 - 29.67 million VND). However, a recent report suggests that the selling price will be even cheaper.
According to a new report from SisaJournal (cited from @Tech_Reve), Samsung is planning to release a cheaper version of the Galaxy Z Fold series this year with a price tag of only around 800 USD (about 19.9 million VND). Although the device's name has not been disclosed, many speculate that Samsung may call it the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE.

The upcoming foldable phone may be equipped with lower-grade components compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. According to reports, the display, processor, and battery will be the highlights. However, the camera system of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE is expected to be similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, possibly featuring a triple camera setup of 50 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP with no major changes in this department. However, this information has not been verified, so we should wait for more detailed information.
Samsung's foldable smartphone market share has dropped from 66.4% to 60.4% and is expected to decrease further in the second quarter of this year. This compels Samsung to strive to increase its market share by launching a more affordable foldable phone.
