Samsung introduces its new 25W charger with a sleeker and more compact design. Utilizing GaN (Gallium Nitride) material, the product is smaller and more efficient compared to traditional silicon-based chargers.
Samsung unveils its new 25W fast chargerThe charger also supports USB PD 3.0 fast charging protocol, complete with PPS. This means it can fast charge various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
In addition to its slimmer design and faster charging speeds, this charger is also more energy-efficient than Samsung's previous 25W charger. According to the South Korean company, the new accessory consumes only 5mW in standby mode, compared to 20mW of the old model. This results in less power consumption when not in use.
Samsung's new 25W fast charger is currently available only for purchase in South Korea, but Samsung plans to soon launch this product in other markets. It is priced at 25,300 KRW (approximately 450,000 dong) for the charger alone or 33,000 KRW (approximately 600,000 dong) for the charger with the included C-to-C charging cable.
