1. Samsung unveils 'The Sero', a TV that can rotate vertically
The Sero by Samsung is the first TV equipped with an automatic rotating screen that can rotate horizontally or vertically corresponding to the displayed content, resembling a smartphone. As the first product designed with the mentioned feature, The Sero sets new standards in hardware, software, and other aspects in the TV design field.

According to Samsung's explanation, the vertical screen is suitable for displaying content similar to a smartphone, catering to young users who can use the TV for social media browsing, internet surfing, or streaming content from their phones to the big screen. Additionally, with the vertical frame, The Sero's screen also displays two contents, two channels simultaneously on one screen. This non-traditional design is aimed at new, tech-savvy users.
One of the standout features of The Sero is its ability to connect (mirror) with smartphones. By simply touching their smartphone anywhere on The Sero's screen, users can initiate automatic connection through a feature called Tap View. Afterward, they can enjoy mirroring features, such as watching vertically oriented videos in high resolution or viewing their own selfie photos on the big screen after capturing them with the smartphone's camera.
Unlike other TVs, The Sero's speaker system is placed beneath the vertical stand. The TV's subwoofer is equipped with a passive vibrating membrane to deliver louder and deeper sound, richer in depth. When playing videos, games, and music, The Sero's speakers provide vibrant and clear sound as they are positioned in the front, directly transmitting audio to the listener. While other TVs rely on Bluetooth-supported audio, The Sero's audio system can connect via mirroring, featuring a 4.1 channel configuration and a powerful 60W output.
