At the IFA 2017 exhibition in Berlin, Germany, Samsung introduced users to two versions of QLED TV – the flat-screen Q8C in sizes 55 and 65 inches, and the innovative TV The Frame sized at 43 inches. These are Samsung's flagship products, expanding their premium TV lineup to a total of 14 QLED TV models and 3 The Frame models – artistic frame TVs.

The new Frame TV version will feature a 43-inch screen. This is a 4K HDR TV model with 4 HDMI ports, 3 USB ports, and includes all the smart TV features of Samsung. However, the unique aspect of the Frame TV is its resemblance to a work of art.

In idle mode, it transforms into an art gallery, showcasing curated artworks and paintings. These artworks are acquired from LUMAS, Saatchi Art, Sedition, and Prado. Users can purchase them through the Art Store or utilize some complimentary pieces from Samsung's collection. Users also have the option to display their own artworks on the TV.

Introducing Samsung's second TV series, the flat-screen version of the previously launched curved Q8C series, known as Samsung QLED Q8F. Samsung is expanding its QLED TV product line in Europe to strengthen its leading position in the global TV market.

Samsung reveals that the QLED Q8F TV utilizes quantum dot technology, delivering color display that meets the global VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker) standards of Germany: Certified for '100% color gamut'. Additionally, this TV features minimal connectivity with an ultra-thin transparent optical cable (only 1.8mm in diameter) and a concealed wall mount.
