Samsung recently announced the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 26. Here, the company will introduce the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Watch6 lineup.

Additionally, reports suggest Samsung may unveil the XR virtual reality glasses at the same event. Today, a new report from GoAndroid reveals that the battery of Samsung's XR virtual reality glasses has received multiple certifications, indicating a possible launch later this month.

Samsung XR Virtual Reality Glasses Battery Certification

Today's sources indicate that the battery with model number EB-BI610ABY has been found in the SafetyKorea certification platform's database. This appears to be the successor model to the older EB-BI120ABY battery, expected to power Samsung's AR glasses. Therefore, it's highly likely that the EB-BI610ABY battery will be used to power Samsung's upcoming XR virtual reality glasses.

Samsung XR Virtual Reality Glasses Set to Launch

EB-BI610ABY Pin has also received approval from the BIS certification platform of India and the CQC of China. This indicates that Samsung XR virtual reality glasses may be launched not only in Korea but also in India and China.

A report emerged earlier this week stating that Samsung has postponed the launch of its first XR virtual reality glasses by about three to six months. Therefore, there is a possibility that the company will confirm its existence at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event and then launch it a few months later. Let's wait and see!
