Method 1: On the program interface, right-click on Sandbox DefaultBox and select Run Sandboxed -->Run Any Program
- A window will appear, click on Browse and navigate to the directory containing the .exe file of the application you want to test in a safe environment. Then, check the box next to Run As UAC Administrator. Finally, click OK
When launching the application (in this case, Firefox), a normal startup will occur, with an additional yellow border. You can now access any web page, even those containing malicious code, without affecting your computer's operation.
Method 2: When installing Sandboxie on your computer, it will by default appear in the right-click menu for you to use. Right-click on the software you want to test, run in a safe environment, and select Run Sandboxed.
A dialog box will appear, check the box for Run As UAC Administrator and click OK.
