Schedule Automatic Shutdown on Windows
Step 1: From the Start Menu, type 'Task Scheduler' and then press Enter.
Step 2: Here, select Create Basic Task
Step 3: Enter a name and description, then click Next to continue
Step 4:
Step 5: Enter the desired shutdown time and start date, then click Next to continue
Step 6: Select Start a program and then click Next
Step 7: Enter the command line “shutdown” and “/S /F” then click Next
Step 8: Here, all the information you've set will be displayed. Click Finish to complete
Step 9: Go back to the Task Scheduler window, right-click on the schedule you created above, then select Properties.
Step 10: In the General tab, click to select 'Run with highest privileges'
Step 11: Switch to the Conditions tab, set up as shown below
Step 12: Move to the Settings tab and configure as shown below, then click Ok to finish
You need to restart your computer for this schedule to take effect.
So, at the set time (as configured above), your computer will automatically shut down daily. Isn't that interesting?
