The most important day of the year for pirates worldwide is approaching, and with Sea of Thieves surpassing the milestone of 15 million players, Rare has brought forth various ways to celebrate talking, jesting, flaunting, and fighting like a pirate.

On Talk Like a Pirate Day, all players will receive double gold and reputation compared to regular days when turning in loot thanks to the latest Sea of Thieves Gold & Glory Weekend event, taking place from September 18th to 20th. Additionally, anyone with Xbox Live Gold will have the opportunity to download and play Sea of Thieves for free from September 17th to 20th as part of the Xbox Free Play Days event.
There are plenty of things happening around this year's Talk Like a Pirate Day. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can even discuss pirate-themed topics anytime, anywhere on mobile devices as Cloud Gaming arrives on Android devices this week.
The latest update is now available for free to all Sea of Thieves players on Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, and via Steam, or to those who own Xbox Game Pass. Simply download and install the latest Sea of Thieves update to access new content.
