- Disadvantage: Unable to check violations and fines. Complex input requirements for checking, including License Plate and Current Certificate or Sticker Number (which few people remember).

How to look up motorcycle and car license plates online:

Step 1: Access the online motorcycle and car license plate lookup link HERE.

Step 2: Enter the following information:

- License Plate
- Current Certificate or Sticker Number
- Verification Code.

Guide on how to fill in the details:

(*) In the 'License Plate' section:

- For plates with 4 digits: Enter the license plate, whether in lowercase or uppercase, with or without hyphens. For plates with 5 digits, add 'T' at the end for white plates or 'X' for blue plates.

- For plates with 5 digits: Enter like plates with 4 digits but add 'T' or 'X.' White plates: Add 'T' at the end; Blue plates: Add 'X' at the end.

Example: To look up information for the vehicle with the plate number 30A-696.96 (white plate), enter 30a69696T or 30A69696T, then input the verification code and click Lookup.

For military red plates in a different system, you cannot check information using this method.

1.2. License Plate Lookup through the Traffic Police Department

- Advantages:
+ Provides vehicle plate information, time, location, detecting unit, and contact phone number for handling violations at local police units.
+ Offers updated violations, including alcohol and drug-related offenses.

Step 2: On the main interface of the website, look to the right and find the small window named: Search Traffic Violations Through Images. Fill in all required information according to the provided template, including:

+ License Plate Number (Vehicle Registration Number): Write without spaces

+ Vehicle Type: Car, motorcycle, etc.

+ Security Code: Enter the numerical sequence displayed on the screen

Click 'Search' after entering all required information.

Step 3: There will be 2 possible scenarios: 

+ If the vehicle has no violations: The system will display a message stating No results found.

+ If the vehicle has violations: The system will display the violations, including all relevant information such as date and time of the violation.
