With these tips, you can confidently wear your new high heels all day long without fear of pain, swelling, or blisters.

1. Silicone Cushion Inserts

Silicone cushion inserts are your best friend for comfortable high heel wearing, preventing issues like swelling, blistering, or bleeding. The designs of these shoe inserts are diverse, ranging from foot pads, sole inserts, to full-length insoles. You can easily find them at pharmacies or numerous online stores.
2. Alcohol

Spray a sufficient amount of alcohol inside tight shoes to moisten. Crumple newspaper and place it inside the shoes overnight. The next day, remove the paper and try on the shoes, they will fit comfortably without the previous discomfort. Use plenty of paper for better results.
3. Talcum Powder

If you feel uncomfortable wearing new shoes, use talcum powder to reduce friction on the foot surface. Simply sprinkle some baby talcum powder on your feet before putting on shoes, and you will no longer experience foot pain. Also, ensure your feet are completely dry before applying the powder.
4. Ice Water

If you accidentally buy a pair of shoes that are too small, don't worry. Fill a plastic bag with water, tie it tightly, and place it in the toe or heel of the shoe. Put the shoes in the freezer compartment overnight. The next morning, take them out, the shoes will have expanded because the water has frozen, increasing its volume and stretching the shoes out.
5. Use Moleskin

This is a common trick used by many women. Small moleskin patches help prevent direct friction between the skin of the foot and the shoe. They will minimize blistering when wearing unfamiliar high-heeled shoes. Also, make sure the moleskin patch is larger than the area of direct friction with the shoe to prevent displacement.
6. Moisturizing Cream

This method works wonders for genuine leather shoes. Simply apply a bit of moisturizing cream inside the shoe, focusing on the heel and toe areas. The moisturizing cream will soften the shoes, making them fit comfortably the next day.
7. Use Socks and a Hair Dryer

Put on a pair of socks and then wear your newly purchased shoes. Next, turn on a hair dryer and move it to the tight areas of the shoe. Dry the shoes for a few rounds until the areas you've heated have cooled completely. Repeat until you feel comfortable in the shoes. Note that this trick is only suitable for shoes made of natural materials like leather.
