Securing Facebook Messenger with Face ID
To lock your conversations on Facebook Messenger using Face ID, follow the steps outlined in the Facebook trick below:
Step 1: Open the Messenger app on your iPhone or iPad, then locate and tap on Privacy =>App Lock.
Step 2: On the window displayed on the screen, find and activate the Require Face ID option.
Additionally, here you can configure the app to lock automatically after a specific period: immediately upon exiting the app, after 1 minute, 15 minutes, or 1 hour.
Currently, Facebook is testing this feature for a small group of iOS users and will soon roll it out to all users.
