Currently, Gmail is widely used as a means of communication and is an essential tool for organizations, businesses, and individuals. This article introduces a method to ensure the security of your Gmail account through Two-Step Verification. You can follow the steps below:
Step 1: Log in to your Gmail account and select My Account.
Step 2: Choose Sign-in & Security, then click Signing in to Google.
Step 3: Next, select 2-Step Verification.
Step 4: Re-enter your password once again to proceed with the setup of two layers.
Step 5: Click on Start Setup to initiate the installation process.
Step 6: Enter your phone number and choose Text message (SMS), then click Send code for Google to send a text message code to the entered phone number.
Step 7: Google will send you a verification code via text message. Enter this code into the Enter verification code field and select Verify.
Step 8: Google requests your confirmation regarding the trustworthiness of the current computer. Choose Trust this Computer, then click Next to proceed.
Step 9: Finally, click Confirm to complete the setup of two-step security for Gmail.
