If you're hesitant to text, you can record your message and share it with friends and family through Zalo. This method helps you convey information more quickly, often used for important announcements or issues that can't be texted.

1. Sending voice memos via Zalo on iPhone
Sending voice memos via Zalo on iPhone or Android is essentially the same. However, the difference lies in the interface of the operating system, which may confuse you. Therefore, Mytour will guide you on both iPhone and Android. Scroll down to the bottom of the article if you're using an Android phone!
Step 1: Open Voice Recorder from the home screen or App Library on your phone.

Step 2: Record your message by pressing the Record button (red circle).
Once you've recorded enough, press the Stop button (red square).

Step 3: Now that the voice memo is saved on your device, it's time to send it via Zalo. Tap the three-dot button next to the file >> select Share.

Step 4: Select Zalo from the Share screen.

Step 5: Check the box next to one or more people you want to send the voice memo to. Then press the Send button (green arrow icon).

Step 6: After the file is sent, the recipient can download it to listen to the audio content.

Additionally, you can send voice messages directly within Zalo without recording beforehand. Voice messages are limited to a maximum duration of 1 minute and recipients cannot download the file.
Tap the Microphone icon next to the message input field. Then, press and hold the Microphone to start recording your voice.

Release your finger to send the voice message. To delete, swipe left (to the trash icon) and release.

2. Sending voice memos on Android phones
Step 1: Open the Voice Recorder app on your phone, tap the Record button (red circle) to start recording.

Step 2: While recording, you can press Two vertical dashes (pause), Triangle (resume). To stop recording, press Square.
Name your recorded file and click Save.

Step 3: Press and hold the saved recorded file. Choose Share from the bottom menu.

Step 4: Open Zalo from the Share screen. Select the recipients, then press Send (Arrow icon).

The recorded file has now been sent. The recipient must download the file to listen to the recorded content.

Similar to on iPhone, you can also directly record your voice within the Zalo app. However, this method doesn't create an M4A audio file; it's just an audio message.
To do this, tap the Microphone icon next to the text input box.

Hold down the large Microphone button to start recording. When you release your finger, the audio message will be sent.
If you want to delete the recorded sound, keep your finger pressed and swipe to the left.
