As you may know, one of the most outstanding features of Adobe Reader, not found in every PDF reader software, is the ability to listen to music and watch videos directly from links available within PDF documents. It supports most common video and audio formats such as MOV, M4V, 3GP, FLV, F4V, MP4, MP3, and more.
However, instead of watching videos and listening to music on the default music software integrated by the manufacturer, you may want to change the software you are using to listen to music and watch videos for a better experience. Follow the guide below to change the music software within Adobe Reader.
How to Change Music Software in Adobe Reader
Step 1: After installing Adobe Reader on your computer, open the utility. Download the latest version of Adobe Reader here: download Adobe Reader
Step 2: On the toolbar, select Edit --> Preferences or use the shortcut Ctrl + K
Step 3: In the Categories: section, choose Multimedia (legacy).
In the Player Options window, change the music software in Preferred Media Player
Click OK to save the settings.
