To open the browser, simply click on the KMPlayer icon on your Desktop (if you chose to place the icon there during installation).
Click on Start (bottom left corner of the screen). In the Search Programs and files section, type in KMPlayer, and the search results will appear immediately. Click on the KMPlayer result to open the program.
Step 2: Choose the storage location for your Media files (in this guide, Mytour will open a folder containing videos).
Select any file within the folder (it can be a Video file or an Audio file), right-click and choose Open With. A new dialog box will open, click Choose default program... to select the default program for opening files.
Step 3: Under Recommended Programs, select the KMPlayer icon, remember to click the text Always use the selected program to open this kind of file to always choose this utility as the default for opening files.
Click OK.
Alternatively, for many computers where KMPlayer icons are not displayed, from the image above, in the Recommended Programs section, you can select the utility by clicking Browser, navigate to the location where the KMPlayer icon is stored (usually Desktop), click Open after making your selection.
At this point, in the Other Programs section, the KMPlayer utility has appeared, click the text Always use the selected program to open this kind of file and click OK to close.
For folders containing audio files, you can do the same as for this video folder. Thanks to this trick, all videos and audio files downloaded from the Internet and stored on the computer will be opened using the KMPlayer software when launched.
You should also consider other music players and video players such as Download VLC or Windows Media Player to see the differences between the software.
