Guide to setting Firefox as the default browser
Step 1: Download and install the latest version of Firefox:FireFox
After installation, open Firefox and activate the Menu Bar. If you're unsure how to do this, you can refer to Mytour's previously introduced guide on enabling the Menu Bar in Firefox.
Step 2: Once the Menu Bar is activated in Firefox, navigate to the Options section of Firefox.
Step 3: Here, you'll click on the General tab and select Make Default. After clicking here, Firefox browser will become the default web browser every time you click on any link on your computer.
Press Make Default and then OK to confirm setting Firefox as the default browser.
Once set as the default web browser on your computer, revisit the Firefox settings page and you'll see Firefox displaying a notification stating that it is currently the default browser.
For older versions of Firefox
For older versions of Firefox, to set Firefox as the default web browser, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open Firefox, click on the Firefox menu at the top left corner, and choose Options.
Step 2: When the Option window opens, click on the Advanced tab and check the Make Firefox the default browser box under System Defaults to set Firefox as the default web browser on your computer.
Then, click OK to complete the process.
