Step 1: Download the latest version of iTunes to your computer and install it.
Step 2: Next, launch iTunes and find the song you want to use as a ringtone. Right-click here and select Info.
Step 3: Choose the start and end time in Start Time and Stop Time. Note that Apple only allows ringtones to be limited to 30 seconds.
Step 4: After setting the time, right-click on the music file and select Create AAC Version.
Step 5: Next, right-click on the AAC music file you just created and select Show in Windows Explorer.
Step 6: Change the file name from .MP3 to .M4A (or .m4r)
Step 7: Add this file to the Tones library.
Sync with your phone.
