Step 2: After completing the download, double-click the file to install the software as usual:
Step 3: After installation, when opening the application for the first time, you'll encounter a language window; make sure to select English as shown below:
Step 4: Press accept to continue.

Step 5: Firstly, click on the padlock icon to set a password for the application. Each time you open the application, you'll need to enter this password.
Step 6: Now, let's proceed to lock the folder you want to secure.
First, click on the plus sign. Then, a small window will appear. Select the folder you want to lock and click the green checkmark.
Step 7: After adding the folder, select it and then click on the lock icon to close as shown below.
Step 8: A password input window will appear. Enter a password for the folder, note that this password is different from the one entered in step 5. After entering the password, click Protect.
Step 9: A notification will ask if you want to create a password hint. A password hint helps us remember the password in case of forgetting. This is optional; you can click No if you prefer not to create one.
Thus, our folders have been protected, and you will notice the folder disappears from your computer.
To unlock the folder, open this application, then double-click on the locked folder and enter the password, then click Unprotect. The folder will reappear on your computer.
