1. Adjusting print settings on Google Sheets in the browser
If you access and use Google Sheets through browsers on your computer, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, you'll have various options to customize different print settings.
Note: If you want to repeat one or more rows/columns on each page, choose View =>Freeze and select the corresponding rows/columns before printing.
Step 1: To print a specific area on the spreadsheet, simply select the cells you want to print as shown below.
Step 3: In the print preview window, you can adjust the following options:
- Print Area: current sheet, entire workbook, or selected cells.
- Paper size: choose available sizes or enter custom dimensions.
- Page Orientation: Landscape or Portrait.
- Scale: Fit to width, fit to height, fit to page, or enter a custom percentage.
- Margins: Normal, narrow, wide, or enter custom size.
- Page breaks.
- Formatting: Gridlines, notes, adjust page order, and more.
- Headers & Footers: page number, title, name, date, time, and other items.
Step 4: Next, find and click on Next (located in the top right corner).
Step 5: Edit any of the options below:
- Destination: Select a printer or choose the Save as PDF option or Save to Google Drive as PDF.
- Pages: all or specify specific pages to print.
2. Printing Spreadsheets from the Google Sheets App for Android, iOS
Additionally, you can print spreadsheets and sheets from the Google Sheets app for Android, iOS.

Follow these steps to print a spreadsheet from Google Sheets on your mobile app: Step 1: On Android, tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner. On iOS, tap the three-dot icon on the top-left corner. Step 2: Tap Share & Export. Step 3: Tap Print.
Step 4: Next, select your printer and customize the number of copies. Depending on your platform and printer, you can adjust additional options. For example, on Android devices, find and tap the downward arrow icon to adjust options like paper size, orientation, specific pages to print, color, and one-sided or two-sided printing.
