1.2. Setting up Hangout Meet on mobile

Step 1: After downloading Hangouts Meet from the provided link, proceed with the installation as usual.
Step 2: Open the Hangouts Meet app on your phone. With this Hangout Meet setup, upon first run, the app will display a welcome window for users. Press Continue button. Hangouts Meet will prompt a request to use the Camera, press OK.

2. Basic usage guide for Hangout Meet
2.1. Creating and joining meetings
Step 1: From the Hangout Meet workspace on the website platform, click the Video Call button.
Step 2: In the new window that appears, click the Join or start a meeting button.
Step 3: The Join or start a meeting dialog opens. Now you have 2 options:
- Join a meeting: Enter the meeting code or the nickname of the host.
- Start a new meeting: Enter any nickname you desire or leave it blank.
After entering the information, click the Continue button. The system will automatically sign you into the meeting or create a new one based on your choice.
Step 4: Next, the system will take users to a waiting screen where you can check audio, camera connections, etc., before joining the meeting. If everything is ready, click Join Now.
When using Hangout Meet on mobile, users also perform similar actions.
2.2. Inviting others to join the meeting
To invite others to join the meeting, you need to be present in the meeting first.
Invite others using a Code
If you are the meeting host, a notification window Add Others will appear, presenting information about the online meeting. Users can click the Copy Joining Info button to send invitations to others. Alternatively, you can simply read out the Room Name or Room Code as the content https://meet.google.com.
If you have closed the Add Others window or are not the host, click on the room name at the bottom left corner of the screen to review this information.
Invite others via Email
Step 1: To directly invite users via your email, click on the People icon on the toolbar in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Here, click on the + Add people button.
Step 3: Select users from your friends list, or directly enter their email address into the information box.
