Step 1: Choose the folder where the file you want to protect is located.

Step 2: Right-click and select Rename.

Step 3: Change the extension from PPT to PPS. Press Enter.

Step 4: A dialog box will appear, choose Yes.

The file will appear as follows after conversion:
