In this article, Mytour introduces you to the process of setting up the wifi system configuration. After reviewing, you'll be able to interact with your wifi modem without the need for technical assistance.
Logging into the wifi system
Step 1: Find the IP address
Locate the computer using the Modem's LAN network. Type CMD or press Windows-R, then enter 'cmd'.
Execute the command Tracert 8.8.8.8. Wait a moment for the first IP to appear; that's the modem's IP.
Step 2: Open your browser, access 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, then enter the following information:
Username: admin (root)
Password: admin (or 12345)
Change Access IP to the modem
To modify the access IP to the modem, go to the LAN tab, enter your desired IP in the IP Address field. Choose an IP range that is easy to remember; your wifi will restart after the change for reconnection.
Change wifi password
To change your wifi password, access the Wireless > Security tab (varies by device). Then, in the WPA/WAPI passphrase field, enter your new password.
